I stumbled across a blog recently where the author posts “thank you” notes to people, events, places, and even things. I’ve started the same habit and have been pleasantly surprised to find what an attitude adjustment has occurred in me as I choose to look for things to be thankful for.
Some of the notes have an element of sarcasm in them, but that is partly because at first it is difficult to be truly thankful for things like tooth extractions and poopy diapers. This is a mind over matter situation, however, and I expect that an attitude of gratitude will follow. Enjoy!

Mandie, Great to see you on here and great to read your notes. Is that your real handwriting. We are doing well out here in Colorado. The boys are growing really fast and Liam starts school in the Fall. Time flies by.
I remember being on the mission field and wishing that I had more people letting me know they were reading our updates. It is good to know that there are people out here who care and are praying for you.
In Christ,
Bill
Hahahaha. The AC Man is my favorite. That is pretty funny eve as creepy as it is to have a stranger under your house listening to you play piano.
